Velvet has been seen on the runways of Fendi, Marc Jacobs and Giorgio Armani and has finally trickled down to stylish stores like Free People. When I saw this Fashionista with a fitted velvet top I couldn’t let her pass by without snapping a few shots. The top’s structured shoulders and scooped neckline added sophistication with ease.
To add her own unique spin to this ensemble, she paired it with black jeans and gray distressed boots. As a focal point, she used a beautiful printed scarf as a belt and cleverly tied it into a bow. This pop of color complemented her stunning hair and her perfectly painted lips. Her canvas backpack also allowed her to tote around her books in style.
I loved this week’s Fashionista because of her monochromatic outfit with touches of color in her accessories.
