My obsession with studs and spikes has grown even more over the past few months and when I saw a simple stud ring online for $150.00 at CCskye, I took a crack at making it myself.
I started out with an inexpensive ring base ( about $3.00/3 bases) , steel grey Swarovski crystal stones and a stud from studsandspikes.com ( $21.00/ 1000 studs ).
I started out by bending the prongs and attaching it to the base. By using jewelry glue, I secured the stud and added 6 crystals to each side.
Within 2 minutes I now have a brand new studded ring ...
ENJOY!

I can't believe this $150 ripoff when you've just created a ring that's even better than theirs for basically free (hey, gotta love a sparkle).
