STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Fabulously Floral

This week, Orange County was blessed with a warm day that didn’t require a coat. The Fashionista took this opportunity to bust out an amazing oversized floral top and some unique shoes. Floral patterns can be a bit tricky at times. If you don’t pick the right one, you can end up looking like a throwback couch from the '90s.
Take a page out of the book of this Fashionista and stick to colors in the same family. The two shades of pinks and oranges on a black background prevent the colors from competing with the already intense pattern. Tasteful floral pieces can easily be found at Urban Outfitters. My favorite item is the BDG cigarette jeans. The big floral pattern and the slim fit are perfect to be paired with a red jacket this winter. I love the Fashionista’s lace leggings peeking from her torn jeans. To add a little lace to your ensemble, choose the lace, zip jacket from Free People in red over a plain neutral tank. This definitely amps up the vintage feel of the pants while adding a pop of bright color
